Club Cup

After five successful years, Athletissima is continuing the now traditional Club Cup, a competition designed primarily for clubs and athletes from the French-speaking region of Switzerland (Romandy). Swiss athletics is booming, and it is important to build on this momentum in promoting Romandy clubs—who knows, it may even help uncover new rising stars in our sport.

THE COMPETITION

Athletics clubs from Romandy compete through their athletes during the qualification period, which runs from late May to mid-August (see calendar below). Each club may enter athletes aged 14 or older (born in 2011 or earlier) who are licensed with Swiss Athletics to compete in one or more of the ten disciplines featured in the eight qualifying competitions.

At the end of the qualification period, the eight clubs that have scored the highest number of points (according to the international World Athletics scoring table) will face off in a grand final!
