The City Event, launched in 2018, is a unique athletics competition in the heart of Lausanne, on the eve of the Athletissima meeting. A different discipline each year, this event, which has been Diamond League certified since 2023, attracts the world’s best athletes, including Gianmarco Tamberi, Armand Duplantis, Nicola Olyslagers and Yaroslava Mahuchikh.

This year, the men’s pole vault returns to the Place de la Navigation in Ouchy on Wednesday 21st of August at 6pm. A free, high-flying competition in an idyllic setting!
