About the City event
Launched in 2018, the City Event is a unique, free, and open-to-all athletics competition held in the vibrant center of Lausanne on the eve of the Athletissima meeting. Each year, a different discipline takes the spotlight, and since 2023, this dynamic showcase has been part of the Diamond League circuit, attracting top global athletes such as Gianmarco Tamberi, Armand Duplantis, Nicola Olyslagers, and Yaroslava Mahuchikh.
The City Event will return in 2027, information will come soon.
