She will also benefit from the event\u2019s\u00a0<b>Wavelight pacing system<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t want to put pressure on myself by focusing on the world record,\u201d Werro told reporters on the eve of the meeting. \u201cFirst of all, I want to enjoy the race. But Lausanne is a special meeting for me. My whole family and all my friends will be there. The race can still be very fast even without Keely Hodgkinson if the conditions are good and the pacemaker does her job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Swiss athlete remains\u00a0<b>undefeated outdoors this season<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For comparison, Kratochv\u00edlov\u00e1 passed 400 metres in\u00a0<b>56.83 seconds<\/b>\u00a0during her world-record run in Munich in 1983.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of Werro\u2019s main rivals will be\u00a0<b>Femke Broeders-Bol<\/b>:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be my first 800m in Lausanne, so it will be a completely new experience for me. It\u2019s exciting to be part of a race where everyone is chasing a world record. Compared with the 400m hurdles, I enjoy having to spend less time working on pure speed in training.
